Took me forever to finish this... I had actually started it last year, but had another block issue and spend long time without drawing.

Don´t get this wrong. I HATE Maiko, that was a big disapointment for me about the ending of Avatar TLA.

However, I couldn´t help but feeling sorry when I learned about Mai´s life at The Beach episode. Her mother had actually annoyed me with her "you must feel grateful to whatever Fire Lord gives to us" attitude. So I figured out that her actitude towards Mai´s love for Zuko should have changed a lot according to the ins and outs in the prince´s life.

im not a Maiko fan either
i feel bad for her.... i guess

but her relationship w/ Zuko seemed out of place
like it was just thrown in season 3 ^^

but if you read the promise, *coughspoilercough*

it looks like Mai is going to leave Zuko
=D ^^;

"The Promise" its a graphic novel about A:TLA after his fight w/ Ozai
Mike and Bryan worked alongside with this project and it basically is explaining how Republic City was formed =D
