Yeah, probably that´s because her slack on appearance that she looks younger (probably that worked for me,too. Everytime I find any of my old school colleagues I get a scare by seeing how old and wrinkled they look(and they´re all about 30-40).
Some already suggested me that present Bulma gained extra wrinkles by having to live with Vegeta, to not mention her second pregnancy. But I think it´s harder to endure the things Mirai Bulma went through.

My theory is that AT received fan letters commenting that she looked so young, or he was criticized by his bosses at Shonen Jump, so he decided retifying that on poor present Bulma.

Aquelas roupas dela são medonhas, nem velha de 80 anos usa saia tão comprida! (bom, não sei no Japão...) E eu sempre achei que cabelo curto demais envelhecia, mas tem muito careta que acha que cabelo comprido é coisa de mocinha. Provavelmente o Akira Toryiama é um desses (suspiro).
